Castle Lager has a crisp, medium-bodied taste with a balance of light malt sweetness and a clean, refreshing finish that includes a subtle but noticeable hop bitterness. It is often described as somewhat dry and bitter, but never overwhelmingly sweet, designed to be thirst-quenching. 

• Hops: Waboomskraal hops are used to provide a pleasant bitterness.
• Malt: Sun-kissed barley from Caledon.
• Maize: Golden maize from the Free State is also a key ingredient.

Important Information – Keg & Equipment Deposits

Keg Deposits
A refundable deposit applies to all kegs. The amount varies by brewery and keg type and is refunded when the empty keg is returned in good condition.

Party Equipment Rentals
A refundable R5,000 deposit is required for all party equipment rentals and is refunded when the equipment is returned on time and in good condition.

20L Kegs
20L kegs are only available to customers who own compatible 20L keg equipment.

Supplied in client owned 30L kegs. 30L keg pricing on request, keg deposits will apply.
